RTE Admission 2020: The RTE platform serves as your one-stop source of information and updates related to the Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009 for all rights of children. It is an initiative of the Center for Civil Society (CSS) under its School Choice Campaign (SCC) and is currently in partnership with the Central Square Foundation (CSF).

The RTE Admission 2020 process will be started as per the scheduled date. RTE came into force with the objective of providing free and compulsory education to the children of weaker sections.

All students whose parents from all sources have an annual income of less than Rs 1,00,000. They can apply for RTE admission 2020 with a 25% quota in their state.

Important Note

  • In the year 2020-21, parents can opt for online applications for free admission to schools.   
  •  The parent only has to apply to the school once. If a child’s name appears in more than one place due to multiple applications in the same school, the priority list prepared by the centralized lottery will be based on the lowest ranking of the priority list.
  • It is necessary to attach caste, housing, BPL list, certificates provided by the competent authority for disability.
